syniel:

Is it just me or, the new legendary Galio skin is a total rip-off of Illidan ? ._.
Even the music feels like the Black Temple, lol.

It is a total rip off, from demons in outlands.

I fixed Bunny Riven a bit.
If you’re my roommate, you know how much this picture annoys me and I have to watch it for minutes on the loading screen and arrgh. I fixed her twisted spine and dat beautiful boobs and ass pose, I shortened her leg and made her foot a bit smaller cause foreshortening and whatnot, it was bigger than her head. I fixed her shin, it was bent in a weird way. Oh and the arm in the back, she had a freakisly long lower arm. I stuffed her streched leg behind the rubble cause I’m lazy and also I think the pose looks a bit better this way. And I gave her a bit more waist.
I used bits of liquify and lots of simple hard round brush. And some free transform. I’m not used to painting at this scale (I was doing this on 400% lol) so some painted bits look extremely awkward.
NOTE: this is just my view on how the picture would look better. All the credits go to the original artist, no infringement intended. Property of Riot games etc. (I think this was painted by Kienan Lafferty? No?) If you find this offensive, please ignore it and move on. It’s really just my preference.

Mhmmm, some stuff was fixed, some other looks even worst than the original art. Actually everything looks worst from the ‘waist down’. The pose from the original is a very over-used pose that has been done in comics/anime/anything for a long time, it is done to be appealing to the eyes, not to look proportionally right. When you try to fix it, you end up with an awkward, weird ass pose. Which is what you ended up with. If you had actually re-drawn instead of fixing it, I’m sure it would have looked better.
The leg in the background looks like a sewer pipe in your picture, and its because you made it a lot thinner than the leg on the front and also got rid of what defined her knee, which makes it look like nothing but an endless cylinder. On your fixed picture from the bottom it looks like she posing with her profile towards us, but when you get to the top she is twisting awkwardly, making the pose even more ridiculous and like the bottom part doesn’t belong to the picture. While in the original, there is at least a flow and the top and the bottom go together.
She also looks like she has no actual waist, just a torso that flows to the legs. That’s because in the original picture her ass was sticking out, giving volume and a sense of dimension, the belt is just on the way, which makes it hard to see, but is pretty obvious. When you got rid of this dimension by ‘fixing her spine’ you got rid of what defined her waist and hips, making it look like nothing but a log with legs when you fixed it.
I understand a lot of people have problems with this pose, just like they do with bunny riven even though a LOT of riven fans wanted this skin because of the inside joke the fanbase has. But…fix the pose by re-drawing it, in the end you just butchered the art and didn’t fixed anything. Or make a post with what’s actually wrong with the picture by pointing out the mistakes, that would have at least been better.
